Miramistin® use in dentistry
The solution is used for prevention and treatment of stomatitis, gingivitis, periodontitis and periodontitis. Miramistin® is shown to be active against many bacteria, viruses and fungi, even those resistant to antibiotics. Rinsing mouth with Miramistin® reduces inflammation, promotes regeneration processes and stimulates local protective reactions.
The efficacy of Miramistin® in dental practice is confirmed by studies. It was used in the treatment of diseases of the oral mucosa (chronic recurrent aphthous stomatitis, chronic oral mucosal trauma, mild necrotizing ulcerative stomatitis, mild chronic generalized periodontitis, candida glossitis). A positive and sustained response to therapy, as well as significant improvement, was reported in 5 days2.
The use of Miramistin® in complex treatment of chronic catarrhal gingivitis led to a shorter time to recovery. The inflammation was reduced and complaints were eliminated on average on the 4th day3.
